DAY 1-Hitting two birds in one stone.

The first bird.

With Kuya John my partner in this SEA Teachers Program.

I was so excited to fly. This is my first time to ride an airplane. But what do marks this the most is that there is an involvement of my study? Under the SEA-teacher Program, we are deployed to teach for one month in the city of Purwokerto in Indonesia. The feeling of nervousness and excitement combine. But I keep myself to just be calm and keep focus and just cherish the moment. We have a two-plane ride first is from my home town to Manila, the capital of our country and the second flight would be from there to Jakarta. I got dizzy at the first fly maybe because it was my first time. But in my second fly it was good already it just feels nothing at all. The thing that relives me whenever I'm confused is that I have my Co-student teacher who was so expert on these things, his been flying in domestic and international for a long time already. He is indeed amazing. Thanks to Kuya Jhon. We stay for 6 hours at the NAIA airport and for that 6 hours we roam around the there while waiting for our second fly to Jakarta, that was also my first time to take a stamp on the capital of the Philippines. After a couple of hours ready to fly off to Jakarta Indonesia. It was a three-hour ride on the plane. Touchdown, WONDERFULL INDONESIA. We sleep for one night in Jakarta, in a hotel and the morning we got our first breakfast in Indonesia, together with the international affairs personnel of UMP, who fetched us at the airport. In the afternoon we went back to the airport to wait for the two Thai, which was also under the program, so we can go together by train to Purwokerto.

The second bird.

The second bird was riding a train. It is my first time to ride a train as well, I did not close my eyes at day time, I’m just looking outside my window and look around, but it's getting darker already so I just took asleep and settled down. The experience was great I did able to enjoy the fast ride because there was no traffic at all. It takes us four and a half hours to arrived in Purwokerto and was immediately sent here in the University guest house which they call UMP MESS. Temporarily signing off, time to rest, see you tomorrow.
