Day 16 - Pay Off of the School Teachers Duty

Good morning people, today is a brand new day, a day that hopes open its doorstep for a new journey to take. Early this morning we arrived at school and the color of the uniform of the employees here is color blue, from faculty to maintenance crew. As we arrived at school it's far different when we use to be here, because this time they have a short ceremony, the student gather and have a formation in the lobby. They call the said ceremony as an “Apil Pagi”, it is somehow an awarding activity, to the employees in where they are called to come forward then the students, as well as teachers, clap, whenever a name will be called so we did as well. Though we did not understand anymore their words, we just set behave, as a sign of our participation and respect.

This time will be my second time in teaching demonstration, under the class of 7H, they are an ICT Class. As I enter their classroom, I greeted them as part of my review then I start my class by my motivation by letting them stand and follow the steps in the video I presented. I play “the Hello Walrus” song, they are all active in participating in it. Then I proceed immediately to my activity, the twinkling stars. Then I review them the letters especially the pronunciation of every letter. I teach them to confidently open their mouths so they could able to pronounce the word right, then I gave them exercise through a pair interview of their partner classmates. As I checked their output it was good, so I assume they understand it will. Then I proceed to my knowledge assessment, the paper and pen then we checked it immediately. As I checked their paper they able to do it will, base on their output. I like this class, they are active, and I appreciate how they try their best to learn something from me, Terima Kasih banyak 7H.
