Today must be the mark of the end of our service in this SEA-TEACHERS Program. It honestly makes me sad for this will be the last time that I will be meeting some of the people I use to encounter during my stay here in the town of Purwokerto. So everyone is ready, then suddenly our buddy accompanies us off to FKIP to have a short ceremony but the highlight is all about the evaluation of our experience, highlighting the academic performance of our duty in our respective schools, for me is in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto. It was attended by yours truly together with my co-SEA Teachers, the dean of FKIP, headmaster and the two cooperating teachers from SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto, two personnel from SMA 1 Negeri Baturaden, two from international affairs officer and Dr. Amarin From Thailand who holds an office in SEA-Teacher Program. In there we able to discuss things about how was the experience of the teaching, we have shared about our lesson, ways of teaching and the overall experience in which after that our cooperating teacher gives feedback. The rest of the hours was consumed about the encounters in terms of academic and social life. The discussion was done smoothly and very well. Then we have our pictorials and we went immediately to the international office to have our lunch. A productive half day.
After having lunch, we come back to mess to change our clothes for we will be heading to “Tiga Curug”, the name of the falls that they have here. It has three main falls that’s why it means “Tiga” which means three in Bahasa and “Curug” which means falls. It was a bit far but the scenery was so good, and the stairs are so steep, we took a bath there, it was cold and full of fun. But then it has something special because at the time of our visit there, there are cameramen who are covering the spot and they ask me to say something about the place, that seems like a promotion, I feel honor to do it. It was a good experience. I enjoy it a lot then after that we went back to MESS UMP, and took a rest after a very tiring day.
