Today is supposed to be my second day of observation, early morning we head on our way off to our school at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Porwukerto. Before 7 we already arrived there, and as to how they are set up every morning the headmaster together with the faculty, they have this short meeting. We greet them and went to our table. But after their meeting one of the faculty approaches me and she told me that my coordinator which is Bu Rufi is not around because her aunt passes away just this morning, for that reason she asks me, that I will be the one to take over her class at 7G. I just wait for a few hours for my class they will start at around 10:25, then immediately I went there. To be honest I was impressed by the moment that I enter their classroom because that class is an ICT class. I started my class by a greeting, then I introduce my self to them.

After that, I inform them that it would be their turn to stand and introduce themselves by following the format “I’m (their name), I'm (their age) years old, I studied at (their school). I wasn’t able to find it hard because most of them understand English. The rest of the hours left I teach them, by following their lesson at the book that deals about greetings, but before I went there I practice the translation of every greeting into Bahasa, so whenever they would not understand I can translate it, good thing it's not that too long. I started from the very basic that talks about good morning, good afternoon, and good evening. We also have a game, each row will greet another row in Bahasa and the greeted row will response in English. As I observed they able to participate actively. So I assume they already understand, then I asked them to get a paper and we will be having a short quiz. As what was in the illustration, I draw a rising sun, a sun, and a moon, and I write the Bahasa, greetings in it. All they have to answer is to write either a good morning or good afternoon or good evening. They just answer it in a few minutes, and they pass their paper, I immediately checked it. So far ninety-nine percent of the class made it perfect there is only one who got 7 out of 10, but it's bad after all. The class indeed up productively.
